The goal of this workshop is to explore the transformative potential of ethnography in schools and classrooms.
Ethnography helps teachers observe their own classrooms more effectively, interpret events from multiple perspectives, and create a basis for informed action. Ethnography helps teachers become reflective practitioners.
Teachers who develop an ethnographic perspective can better understand themselves and the students/families they serve.
Ethnography has the potential to transform classrooms and impact social change.
